I’ve been to Belgrade twice and had several fun nights partying my ass with Serbs!  All I can tell you that the nightlife in Belgrade is shockingly incredible.  You wouldn’t believe it until you experience it for yourself.

I’ve partied in over 50 countries and 100 cities around the world, and I put Belgrade in my Top 3 most happening cities in Europe!

Not only are Serbians the most attractive bunch in Europe, but they also very social and they like to party until the sun rises.

Get your hands on a bottle of Rakija – a classic Serbian plum-flavored Brandy – and drink it with some local Serbs.  They will be more than happy to drink their favorite liquor with you, and you’ll have the best night that you’ll never remember.

The clubs that I went to in Belgrade were absolutely insane.  DJs were blasting house music, girls were half naked dancing on tables and pouring shots of vodka into people’s mouths.  Everyone was so attractive (like perfect 10s) and just seemed to be loving life. The energetic atmosphere was contagious in Belgrade, and it kept me coming back for more.

DSC02299If you are in Belgrade in the summer, then you must party on the “club boats” that literally float on the river!  Yes, actual boats with a huge clubs inside are lined up on the riverside of the Danube. These river boat clubs make Belgrade have one of the most unique nightlife scenes in the world.

During the winter, those boat clubs are shut down, but there are still several fun bars and clubs that are scattered around the city.

In this blog post, I will present you with my list of the best clubs to party at in Belgrade.  I break them into categories of “Summer Clubs” and “Winter Clubs,” because it all depends on which season you visit.

For more information, check out Belgrade’s best nightlife website called Belgrade at Night. It’s has everything you need and more about the party scene in Serbia’s capital!

Disclaimer: The following list of clubs was put together mostly from my own personal experiences, but also with the addition of my friends recommendations.  Things may have changed over the years, so I am trying my best to keep this list updated.  If I missed something, please comment so I can add it to the list!  Enjoy :D

*Top Winter Clubs*

#1. Community by Kasina

Located across from the Terazija fountain in one of thebusinese parts of town, Club Kasina is one of the best modern clubs in Belgrade.   The club hosts live performances such as rock and alternative music on most night of the week.  This place always draws a large number of people with it’s traditional draft beer options and a great atmosphere.

People of all ages enjoy Kasina because of it’s friendly and fun environment.   The venue is really big with high ceilings and a large capacity of people of nearly 1,000 people.  Make sure to dress nice, or you will be denied entry at the door. I recommend visiting this club when you are in Belgrade for a classic Serbian experience!

#4. Club Teatro

Teatro has been one of the biggest clubs in Belgrade for the last decade.  The four levels and capacity of 700 people make it one of the biggest clubs in the city.

The stage is on the first floor and the VIP gallery is on the second floor.  There is also a chill out lounge and another “club” inside which can hold up to 300 people.  So when these two clubs are put together, a whopping 1000 people can party together during one time!

Club Teatro is really top notch across the board, and it’s a must visit to experience the true Serbian nightlife scene.

#5. Club Plastic

Plastic is my favorite club in Belgrade!

If you are in town on a Friday or Saturday night, you MUST go to this club. Plastic has constantly been one of the hottest places in town and has been dominating the nightlife scene in Belgrade for the last 13 years.  This place has a nice local twist through its themed nights and events.  The music ranges from house to techno to pop and R&B.  If you really want to dance to progressive house all night, then step over the adjacent club called Mint. Head to plastic around 2-3AM because that’s when it is most crowded.   It’s actually insane how many beautiful people are in this clubs.  I’ll never forget my night at Plastic!

  11. Hey man! First of all I love your post about Belgrade’s clubbing scene, I’m from Belgrade myself and you couldnt have discribed it better. My friend and me started like a Belgrade bar crawl, basicly we start earlier with the party and hit a few bars (1 hour of free drinks in the 1st bar) and pater we go to some of the clubs, in the winter mostly to Plastic. So it would be wery cool if tou could promote us a little bit since you’re kinda of a famous partyer, and our goal is to help people experience one of the best nights in their lives. And ofcourse, whenever you come to Belgrade give me a call and we’ll go for a beer or two 🙂

    1. Hi Nemanja- I am glad that you liked this post! Sure I can help you promote your bar crawl – please send me an email with more details! Also, I am coming to Belgrade in August, so I will see you there 😉

    2. Hey hey!! I’m looking to come back to Belgrade in July/ August sometime. I am actually looking for a summer job of some kind. Hope to hear from you.
